any chance of that bike's speedo begin in km per hour as opposed to mph? I ask because while the nature of video makes it difficult to tell for certain, it seems highly unlikely that the minivan in front of that yellow 355 spyder would really be travelling 100mph when the bike slowly passed by. 100 kmh seems more reasonable.

either way, awesome vid and amazing acceleration.

This company's turbo kit for the Hayabusa is putting down 230 rwhp for the base kit up to 430 rwhp.

I guess either your vision or your monitor is/are better than mine because while I can clearly see other numerals on the inside of the dial, I can't make out what they say.

Look, I'm not disputing the bike. I'm just saying that the SUV or minivan that's in front of that 355 spyder seems to be moving awfully quickly if the speedo on the bike is any indicator.

So you're saying that they're only starting out at (what would work out to be) 60 mph and topping out at 110 mph at 9000 rpms? You know it's a HAYABUSA right? And what about the Ferrari and Van? The 2 bikes pass those cars at 105-110 mph, while those vehicles look like they're going about 80-85. Or is it MORE likely that those bikes are going 65-70 mph on the freeway passing a Ferrari going 55 mph?

This is all nonsense anyhow. The point is the bike is fast! And sick!

true. thank you anthony for bringing us back to reality. my point was never to be confrontational although I seem to have ruffled someone's feathers. i was merely curious. i've never ridden a hayabusa and frankly don't intend to. A stock hayabusa is too damn much bike for me, I think someone riding an FI model must be certifiable.

Dude, my whole point was to help you out. Ruffled feathers? Because I tried to help you see the obvious? Aight, whatever man. My first response about the bike's rwhp SHOULD have tipped you off to the truth without me explaining further. But then by your response it seemed like you wanted a better explanation. Okay, I thought, I'll spell it out for you by using your own rationale and incorporating the two cars in my explanation. Look at your original post - you are asking a question (presumably directed towards me since I started this thread) that I was just trying to answer for you ("any chance of that bike's speedo begin in km per hour as opposed to mph?")

Forget it. This is useless.
