Synthetic oil filter =$15
Therefore, parts alone would be over $115.
Assuming your mechanic can get parts with discount, the parts would still be around $100.
So he is only making $10??

I have a 2014 IS250 AWD and I have battery issues as well. I had the battery switched via warranty about a month ago. I've got another 2.5 years of warranty. Hope the battery does the trick.

I can't believe you had a battery issue? Did they find out the problem? Any other issues with you IS?

The info system locks up and reboots once in a blue moon.....aside from that, nothing. I had the battery replaced and it is ok for now. I am going on vacation for 2 weeks, we will see if my battery will keep charge.
