Default 2015 IS250 FSport - No Traffic Option...I am shocked

I am shocked to hear that Canadian 2015 IS250's don't have traffic even as an option. During the buying process I was told "yes" XM subscription is required etc

But in reality lexus has taken out the option all together!!!!!!!!!!! Bravo lexus Canada...you are moving backwards while the rest of the world is moving to get more features in technology.

Not impressed

Yes, I agree, but the other features of the car are so great, you will not regret purchasing.

don't be shocked we as north american get rip off a lot from import car makers due to many things like cost, laws etc...

like my 2IS in japan they hav that traffic info thingy long time ago... also in other markets they don't get 350 but lucky we do... some markets get diesel and we don't... and the new NX mark levinson is available else where except here in north america... but its not just Lexus... Audi and their matrix headlights isn't available here at all...

It's a problem with XM in Canada, not Lexus. If you call XM they are pretty clueless and don't really know how to fix the issue.
When I had my free trial the traffic 'worked' but it was always delayed by about 10-30 min or so, so usually it was useless. Don't worry about not having it, it never works as well as you wanted.

Also the sound quality of the XM radio it terrible, so it's also a useless monthly charge in my opinion.

Not true. Lexus Canada confirmed xm traffic has been removed by Lexus Canada.

We get shafted in Canada - no Lexus Enform and the navigation doesn't have the nice 3D renderings that you get in the USA. A recent road trip to Detroit reminded me of this again.
