It's just living in Vancouver! Moved from Van to Vic and my insurance dropped 50% on my old car.
Full discount, no roadster I now pay ~$85/month or ~$1000/year here in Victoria. Was $2100 in Vancouver! Oddly enough my old car and new car carry the same insurance rate, I guess everything goes flat after 12y/o or so...

ICBC works off an interesting rate structure to say the least.... But all those guys out east with a couple of tickets and no claims would be paying the exact same as someone without tickets and still no claims. As long as you do not live in the lowermainland, your rates are not that bad! I think my dad pay $145/month on his 2013 LS460!

If you live in the LML, you're getting boned from all directions so butter your cheaks and get comfortable, insurance is the least of your worries!
