Default Carbon Build-up Issues in Canada - Any Success w/ Lexus?

Hey all, just curious if anyone experienced the carbon buildup issues (rough idle) and their luck in addressing it. I just called Lexus Canada and they said there is no Customer Service Program (CSP) about the '06-'10 IS250 corbon buildup. If you take a look at this thread, in the states they started getting letters in the mail about it

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...ld-up-csp.html

So what is your experience with this? Mine not so good so far. Thanks

I get some vibration with foot on brake at red light in D, it comes and goes before AND after my car was lowered
Can't say it's carbon related though, feels more like suspension related (even before lowering)

It sucks that Lexus Canada don't recognize this issue. Have you tried your local dealership?

Asked a dealership in vancouver long time ago, they said it's not covered. They did however offered me to let them perform the carbon cleaning service for $2xx..

This CSP if available in Canada ( I did not get a clear confirmation) is very very new. So very few ppl know about it or what to do with it. I've been driving a loaner es for two days now, still no clear answer on what's going on but something is going on. So I guess that's good news?

ok folks, I just had the top engine clean done under warranty. and was told that there is no CSP that would apply to Canadian is250s.
Hope not to experience the rough idle again, right now I can't say I felt a difference in the engine. Fingers crossed.

I have sent Lexus Canada's Customer Service Department an e-mail to determine why the Carbon Build-Up CSP applies to 2006-10 Lexus IS250 models in the USA but not to its neighbours to the north. I understand that Lexus USA and Lexus Canada function independently, however, there are owners in Canada with the same issue(s) and I consider it unjust to cover owners in the USA and not those in Canada. Will report back if and when I get an answer. If there is no resolution within a week, I will touch base with their CSRs on the phone and hound them until I get an appropriate answer.

Good idea miLanIS250, let me know if you need any help. It is totally unjust what's happening only because it isn't as common to sue them here in Canada?
