I paid $150 for my tires from tire rack... That was shipping and duty. I thought it was a good price. Still saved way more money than buying from Canada.

I just want to get an idea of how much duty/brokerage need to be paid...
Never bought wheels from U.S. but bought Michelin tires in Buffalo and had installed there. Saved 15-20%...........tires were made in Canada ! LOL As far as wheels (rims) are concerned hard to say what duty will be, most aftermarket wheels come out of China (watch out !) .........don't know what duty is. U.S. made wheels (are there any ?) would be duty free (NAFTA).
If buying from U.S. best deal, I would use border shipment handling service and pickup in Fort Erie/Buffalo and bring in myself. UPS will kill you on brokerage /handling fees. You could stay overnight in Buffalo and you and partner each use you duty free allocation when you bring over wheels (2 wheels ea.). Savings may pay for overnight stay and then some.
I live in abby next to sumas washington and everyone here says just go across the border and purchase and install a set and drive them back. Supposivly its much cheaper for tires. If you bring a friend its supposed to be good for duties too. No costs. I dont have a passport so i didnt make this attempt but i would consider maybe next time.
