holy crap, that dmg is extensive. Having worked in a bodyshop, i would say your car is borderline write off. It will cost you a fortune to fix that up yourself. WOW.
reason why i say that is because your car rolled. There is alot more hidden damage than what you posted. If your car rolled, the frame at the top is crushed.
Your guess is 5k? Not a chance. I see about 15k + in damages there alone. Frame + Suspension and Undercarriage damage. Once your car is crushed, the metal stretches and spreads to other parts of the car. So you wont be able to see all of it.
Your first step is to go to a shop and get a estimate. Then go from there.

i would suggest claiming it on your collision insurance with ICBC... your 4 year increase in premiums couldn't total up the damage (including suspension and undercarriage) done there...
if teh car drove PERFECTLY straight, and quiet, like the accident never happened, then i'd say replace the cosmetically damaged panels and call it a day...

try vancity autobody on kingsway as well...
they're a small, privately owned bodyshop... the owner/manager is a very good bodyman... the shop has 2 bodyman (including the owner), 1 painter, 2 prep guy, and 1 wash/detail/delivery/driver...
their painter is TOP NOTCH... the bodymen are very picky... and the shop is small, with not a lot of staff, so the overhead is low...
ask them for an estimate...

well.. i end up not going to the shop. Its to much work to be towing my car all around town. In the end ill be bring my car into ICBC (grrr). Now im hoping its a write off. ; (

All I can say is that you sir stand correct. And I cant afford to repair. Thats more than what I got for the iS deal for. I ask ICBC if I could get it written off they said no. I have only two. 1: Bring it home. 2:Pay for the service that they already made.

$15040. total they haven't even repair anything yet. IS there a way I could get my car written-off ?
03/iS300 - 80k kms 5SP/LSD etc. Whats the market for it? Im assuming 18!20k? This is more than half of the vehicle.

But is it really worth fixing it? Yes ICBC will be paying for it, so will I in the long term (+55% if i cant pay it off, before my insure exp). I thought it would be written-off cause its to costly to repair all the damages. They haven't even started repairing, it was just an estimate.

icbc has to look at how much it would cost to REPLACE your vehicle with something similar... right now, those cars are still in he 20k range at most dealerships... i remember seeing one at regency lexus... 03, white, auto, 78k... they wanted $25,900 for it...

I thought the market re-sell value is base on what it sells eg. buysell/craiglist/autotrader etc. not what the dealerships goes for.
Theres no way i want to repair it. Why by more than half of the car value to fix it cause i bought it for seventeenk! By the way, where can i look for "kelly blue book" but Canadian version or do we even have one ?
and repairing it is more than my ACV.
