Default Where to get the Nav hack done in Vancouver

I have a IS350 Nav/ML and want to get the nav hack done this July when I come to Vancouver to get some servicing done at Lexus (from Kelowna and no Lexus dealers here).

Can anyone recommend any place or anyone that will do the nav hack? All I am after is DVD in motion.

No kit, I want the wire cutting thing.

I want to get the DVD Video in motion to work. Wondering if just grounding the red wire would do that but I think it requires 2 cuts possibly. Anyways, lookin to find some place or someone that knows what they are doing to do the job for a fee

I will be in Vancouver next week probably... any idea how much this mod should cost me? Also anyone know if any dealers will do the mod if asked?

Anyone know how to do the mod real well and want to make a quick buck?

I don't think the dealers will do this mod, cause they don't wanna take any responsibility if accident happens due to the DVD-motion override.

Like I said, i did mine before. I can't say that I'm pro at it, but if you really can't find anyone (any want it done desperately), then I can help you free of charge. Although very unlikely, however, minor dents and scratches might happen.

Hi stkiss,
I just ordered the kit from Ebay and will try to install it this weekend on my 09 ES350. My car only has the Nav no ML DVD. If I run into trouble can I ask you for help ? I live in Vancouver

Oh, I think you're looking at the stage 2? cause the first stage allows only DVD playback while car in motion, while the 2nd stage allows data/address entry as well.

In that case, I really have no clue, cause I did only the 1st stage (which is removing the NAV unit and working on wires)

stkiss thnx for the offer. If I have I have time I will look you up during the week (PM contact info). I am not sure how long Lexus will have my car doing all the TSIB and recalls.

If you do help me I will compensate you. Any idea how long it takes?
