GVRD bi-weekly meets (for summer 2009)
I was thinking we could do bi-weekly meets over the summer (asside from what ever else we decide to do meet-wise).
We could start on one side of the GVRD and move them across to the other side. Obviously not every one will attend every meet, but there are a fair number of new members and it would be a good way for us to just get out and say 'hey'.
I'm thinking just take a page from the CLH book and make them a certain evening every 2 weeks at a Starbucks (we all like coffee rite?) so we can say hey, chat a bit & see what up w. every one.
What do you guys think?

LOL. Yea I def meant bi-monthly ...
ok ... what day of the week do people like? Keep in mind this is more of an evening deal ... like a ... meet up around 9:30 till maybe 11 sort of thing (time also open to sugggestion of course)
Personally I like Sunday 'cause there will be less traffic and other stupid things around town.

well I guess saying this week is the first one isn't nearly enough notice (and I went out last night & kinda paying for it right now ... & I must go to work ... I'm sad about this, I want to go back to bed) so let's say the first one is next week.
location to be determined ... as in, some1 suggest a starbucks or I'll think about it when my head hurts less

Suggesting Sbux by Ikea in Rmd...not deep into Rmd for those who don't like driving in Richmond. I'm suggesting it because it's one of the few Sbux that has a parking lot, also everything else in that area is closed by then, so the lot should be free'd up. Don't know what the hours are there, but I'll find out...or do all starbucks have the same hours?
Just realized that night market is now open...so there might be a fair bit of traffic in that area on a weekend evening...but Sunday is never as busy as Saturday...
