Info on Tire Warranty 400H
Was wondering if anyone can help me with the tire warranty for 400H model. When I purchased my 400h, they explained to me that the tire warranty was 48months/80000km for any road hazards. Now they're telling me it's only 36months/50000km for road hazards and the 48months/80000km is for normal tire warranty.
From their site, https://www.lexus.ca/lexus/experienc...y/warranty.jsp it says:
When I called their main Lexus centre hotline, the rep told me that "yes it's 36months/50000km but if you have a hybrid you have more coverage." Then she calls the service manager and comes back and says she's wrong and that whatever the service manager says is it and they are just "customer service".
My understanding is that you're covered 36months/50000km but if you have a hybrid then you're covered 48months/80000km. Is this correct or am I reading it wrong. I even have a separate brochure for 400h that says Warranty at a glance "Tire 48months/80000km". Does anyone else have a 400h that can tell me what's the correct info? Any help would be appreciated. Tire Warranty
Original equipment tires damaged by road hazards are covered under the Tire Road Hazard Protection warranty. This coverage is provided for a period of 36 months or 50,000 km or until the tire treadwear indicator becomes visible, whichever occurs first. The warranty applies to direct expenses incurred to repair or replace original equipment tires. Coverage is provided in respect to parts, labour, installation, balancing, and the applicable taxes. Your Lexus dealer will make the appropriate repair and claim.
2003 And Up Model Year Original Equipment Tire Warranty
The Original Equipment Tires on 2003 Lexus vehicles are covered by Lexus for a period of 48 months or 80,000 km, whichever occurs first, from the warranty registration date. Any tire replacement, which becomes necessary due to a defect in material or workmanship, is warrantable with exceptions. Please contact your local Lexus dealer for details.

Hybrid-related components
96 months/160,000 km (applies to the battery control module, hybrid vehicle control module, hybrid vehicle battery and the inverter/converter).
Basic Warranty
48 months/80,000 km
Powertrain and safety restraints
72 months/110,000 km
Roadside Assistance
24-hour roadside assistance for the first 4 years (unlimited kilometrage), after the original registration date.
Corrosion/Perforation
72 months/unlimited kilometres
