Getting a good deal in Greater Vancouver
Has anybody been able to get a good deal on a Lexus in the Lower Mainland?
Looking at either an IS or ES. TIA.

richmond automall tends not to bargain much due to the volume they process, i'm not too sure about jim pattison lexus in the north shore auto mall... then the other option is regency lexus on burrard on the west side and the port moody one... if u have the time i would try the port moody one, otherwise regency might be a good try...
i kno someone who bought from the north shore one and it doesn't sound like they got much of a deal... if u have a car for trade richmond will low-ball u like there's no tomorrow and not budge...
if you're looking for new, i would go to carcostcanada.com and get the invoice price and make a fair offer from there and see who bites... it costs $40 and you can do pricing on 5 different vehicles...
good luck!

Thanks Ubernoob and legomaniac. I will try to bargain. I was told a year ago that the 4 dealers have some sort of agreement not to drop prices too much, kind of like Access Toyota Pricing.

i think that sort of agreement is considered illegal
i think there is still room for haggling but the amount depends on the model
i think u can definately get good deals on RX
id really watch out for new ES350 though
the ES350 board shows that the car has a lot of problems!
