Hello All,
Bought my 91 LS400 in the spring. Have had a few repairs done to it, but bought most of my parts online or from Tony Graham Lexus in Ottawa (family ties to the city??) I have been told a few times that there is a Lexus dealer in Barrie - anyone know anything about this? I can't seem to find any info on the net re a Lexus dealer in Barrie. Also have a persistent viration from the rear that I can't get rid off. Have had the driveshaft balanced and a new hanger bearing put in - but it's still there. Anybody else been through a vibration problem i.e. axles or CV's or rear end bearings? My mechanic had a look at it for me and the only thing they found out of the ordinary was there was too much oil in the differential - they let it out to the proper level. I had a friend that had a new Dodge truck and had the diff oil changed and it would shake and vibrate like mine. Turned out they put the wrong oil in. Does anyone know if this LS400 uses special oil in the diff and would this create a vibration? Sorry this is so long.

theres a member on www.redflagdeals.com/forums that has the name of highflyer too
its a canadian site w/ forums where ppl post deals (eg, LCD TV on sale where...) and many more sections of the forums where ppl ask questions and chat
