clear film for front end
Hi Guys,
anyone know of a GOOD place in the GTA for the clear film. I am from the sc430 forum and those guys all have the Xpel-film. They say it is the best. I know Clubfoot has the film on his is350, I don't know the brand. I think it was dealer installed. Wondering if I should just go there.
I am starting to get a few chips
Thanks
Mario

I got mine installed by 3M Trimline one block north of Derry Rd off Dixie Rd. They also did the tint on my son's Celica and my IS, nothing but good things to say about them.
They are not the cheapest, but do allot of high end cars.

Hi Camillian..
I was in GTA during my high school years. Sorry could not help you any lead to a nice clearbra shop there, but I just want to say hello to you.
I am a secret admirer of your wheels!

Never do the film by a mobile installer company called EXCELLENT EXTRAS. Mine got done by the owner called Rick Powaska and he scratched both of my side mirrors with a blade by accident. I got 6-8 inches scratch on each mirror and I had to replace the whole mirrors.
Apparently he is clueless as no one should use a blade on a pre-cut kit (trimming the edges with a blae may be acceptable).
This guy claims himself doing vinyl graphics sign for the Indy cars for a number of years. He is still dragging on the issue (install date was in August 2006) and refuse to pay for the full cost of the side mirrors.
I have VentureShield film on hood, fenders, mirrors, headlights and the front bumper. I like the film coz' it is thinner and clear. Not much orange peel. But there isn't any good installers of VentureShield in GTA.
Apparent, the Trimline of MetroWest seems to be a good choice, the one used by another CL member Clubfoot as the installer installs clear flim for some Ferrari in Canada.

EV ftw!!!
Hey Ed, since they do high end cars I would assume they do custom cuts and not just do installs from pre-cut templates?
