Member "4doorvip" - Misrepresented Item Sold

No where on this post did the seller mention any damage on the coilover he was selling. He misrepresented the item and DID NOT disclose defective/damaged items which could have affected the sale. He demanded a premium for the coilovers and I agreed to pay thinking it was in good condition. I thought he would be a trustful seller after he was screwed over on another deal and wouldn't dare to do the same to a fellow member.
I received the package and inspected all items. I was very upset and disappointed to see one strut rubber shield to be ripped open and one of the mounts on another piece cracked (safety concern). These damages could not have been missed by the seller and should have been disclosed upfront, not kept as a secret to be discovered after purchase. I basically have a set of $950 coilovers worth junk and is not even safe to install without risking my safety and my family's.
Check out the pics for proof. The seller refused to settle and basically told me to just buy the broken part from the manufacturer. Stay away from this seller.
4doorvip - Just a mental note for you to remember. You really messed around with the wrong person.

If you bought or sold something in the classifieds on ClubLexus you can include feedback (positive or negative) on both buyers and sellers in this forum. Only the buyers, sellers or others directly related to this sale can post in this forum, anything else will be deleted without notification.

Buyers Beware!!!
It looks like this clown is trying to sell another item on Ebay. This time, it's a JIC FLT-A2 coilovers, again for the JZS147. Item number: 180189288011. His Ebay username is exactjdm from BC, Canada. I know cause I first saw the Tein CS he sold me on Ebay and I still have the auction link. He knows better not to sell his stuff here on CL cause he will get exposed!
