Smile So I got 2-3k to splurge on my RC F-Sport

My days of tearing up the road are over, but oddly, my 2016 RC seems to be going FASTER!?

Sooo, I'm lovin' the car, which seems made for me, but after reading all these super $$$ addons I ask, humbly:

If this was your car, and you lived in SoFL, ungaraged, and you wanted to splurge, what, if anything would you do?
(I already tinted the glass)

Terry

I would go with a set of coilovers or a set of wheels. Both would be great if you find some affordable wheels.

OK, then.. I like the coilover idea as I appreciate tight handling.
But will this affect the 'Sport mode' functioning in any way?
I was told that this mode 'tightens' the suspension for superior handling.
..and can any shop install them easily or do I need a specialist?
I really like the stock sport wheels so I plan to keep them... for the forseeable future.
Thank you, troyhuynhv and Kira X !!

May be easier to just upgrade springs and look into thicker sway bars and strut bars etc.. going to stiff on the street will end up hindering performance as the car becomes unstable over bumps, rough road etc... super stiff isnt always great for a street car an isn't always faster on the street. I would look into exhaust, intake, springs which is a good start.

What did you end up doing to the car?

Talking

Well, I dilly dallied and unknowingly scraped the underside of the rocker panel and left rear underside of the wheel well on a low cement divider making a u-turn.
So.. I trimmed the budget and got the lighted lexus doorsils OEM, from a local Toyota dealer, installed under $400. I think they are understated elegance.
Uh, lowering the car is totally off the books now. Exhaust and intake a possibility in the future..
After I get the touchup paint done I'll consider the radar detector, as the car seems to be running faster and faster on the highways!

A decent drop (Tanabe springs) and intake (AFE Takeda) will instantly give the car a more aggressive look and nice sound (and small bump in power) making it quite a bit more enjoyable!!!
