Power steering warning light
Hello. I have a LS460 L with 109K miles. I have just experienced the power steering motor light flashing on and off; at the same time my radio and navigation system turns on and off. Has anyone experienced this? Is this a fuse issue, I can address, or do I need to head to the shop.

Power Steering Light Issue
Believe it or not, the issue was with my battery. Once the dealership checked out my complaint, they could not find anything wrong. They mentioned that I did not have a power steering pump, thus, the issue could not be found. However, while checking out my car, they noticed that my battery was low. After replacing the battery, the issue with the power steering light and my navigation system went away.

My 2011 Lexus 460 L AWD j has 28,457 miles on it GREAT car amazing handling in the snow ,ran or just handling twisting roads in the sport mode
My 2016 BMW 750 I (M) cost over $41,000 MORE then I paid for the Lexus
Having owned a ES 350 FWD ( I traded it in 5 months after I bought it and bought GS 350 AWD nice car but it lacked pick up and was not fun to drive
The only reason I did not buy another Lexus LS was the grill and the 6 cylinder does not compare to the BMW 8 Cylinder Turbo

Problem Solved
Hello. I have a LS460 L with 109K miles. I have just experienced the power steering motor light flashing on and off; at the same time my radio and navigation system turns on and off. Has anyone experienced this? Is this a fuse issue, I can address, or do I need to head to the shop.
okay so I finally figured out the problem and it’s such a relief! And I just felt i must help everyone else who has faced this issue. It started about 2 months ago and just got really bad to the extent that the navigation and power steering shut off more than 15 times on my 30 min drive.
SOLUTION: 1) the battery terminal. If it’s even slightly loose, it will cause this to happen. Make sure it’s VERY tightly attached.
2) the ground wire is rusted and needs to be cleaned. This is located on the left side of the battery if you are facing the car.
hope this helps anyone facing this issue.
