Car looks great. Those wheels balance it out very well. Are you sticking with those, or moving to something else?

Well... broke my windshield! Was adjusting the trim on the driver's side and hit the edge of the glass. I just replaced that windshield in July lol. Minor setback I guess. My black dash, rear deck, third brake light, steering column cover should all be here today. That's a good thing. I'll probably have to follow my own DIY for dash removal lol. Gonna try something with an old set of 95-96 tail lights this week. Also picked up a set of LS400 fronts and TT rears. Wasn't planning on buying them but I couldn't pass up the ridiculous price! Sand blasted the calipers last night. Will be painting them this week. Been looking very closely at Gerrb's thread on the vvti swap. Gonna try and get that done this summer/fall. Time to work.

Nice emblems on the rear... Sorry to hear about the glass failure.

Lexus Test Driver
When I had mine repainted, I also shaved the antenna, and its such a cleaner look. The car is coming out great.
IMO it'd look better with just the Lexus badge in the middle, and without the LEXUS and SC300 badges.

Looks like a Lexus dealership garage...
so I sold the 97 SC last summer and came across a junk of a 1999 SC. My goal is to restore it. It basically needed EVERYTHING! I'll post pics soon and some progress.
Maintenance is the most important to me and this car was clearly neglected I had to replace the power steering rack, radiator, water pump, timing belt (it was original at 222,000 miles!), front engine seals, vvti gear, could, plugs, valve cover gaskets, windshield, rear view mirror, right front control arm, installed coilovers cause the shocks were blown all around, new front and rear brakes, fixed the major exhaust leak, changed the oil, and maybe some other minor things. Programmed two new factory keys with remotes and replaced the trunk shocks. I had some old 18's laying around I put on. I also installed an IS300 shift **** and steering wheel. Then I installed a pioneer nav and Bluetooth head unit, kicker speakers all around, 4 channel amp, 2 channel amp, and a kicker 10" sub in factory location.
It's currently being painted Ultra Sonic Blue. More pics to come!
