Default Yep, another SC

So I picked up another SC. It's a 99 300. It had 103k miles on it. Of course the LCA bushings are shot but just received new arms in the mail today. As of now no big plans but to just drive and enjoy.

Bought it in Georgia. It was kind of an impulse buy but had longed for another SC for a while. I have been racking up so many miles on my Mercedes so this will help

I had my TT wheels on i5 for a little while. Looked nice. I just recently had all new motor mounts, new Lexus lca's ($$$) and brakes/rotors put on it. It drives really nice. I also put the factory 5-spokes back on it.

Yesterday I did little road trip up to the Texas panhandle. Went to the place they filmed the last scene of the movie Cast Away. The car is dusty but I can never pass up a photo op.

If only Tom Hanks drove an SC300 in the film...

gtsfire - I would suggest you start a thread about your cars on the Build Thread Section so any info about one's vehicles are in one place or thread. The Build Thread section is not only for people who are building their cars . It is for show casting our cars stock or built....anything about one's car should be on a thread in that section.

Please do so before I close this thread or can just move this on that section.

Curious... are there any ways the SC is better than your CL55? It's apples and oranges to a certain extent. Mercedes of that era, especially AMGs are appealing but I hear horror stories from a maintenance/reliability standpoint and haven't been impressed with the quality of the couple non-AMGs I've owned in the past.
