Tail light Failure

My 430LS dash shows "Tail Light Failure" when I turn on headlights. I have checked all bulbs are active and bright. Anyone know why this occurs.

wrong section but. check your center stop light. I believe it has more than one bulb in there

Yeah have a look at your third break light, that would be my guess. What year is your LS? it must be between 01-03 becuase apparently that warning does not come on for the 3rd break light in the 04-06 's .

Thanks! It is '01'. The mechanic swears he looked at it but I will have him check again.
