Default 1998 gs300 2jzgte swap issues

hey guys,

Have dropped the 2jzgte into the car and I have run into 3 issues that I need help with.

1.) Upper radiator hose. Is there an easy connectable or do I have to custom make?

2.) wiring harness-- all but one harness hooks right into the box (3 total) what does that mean? and does that have anything to do with tachometer wiring that needs to be addressed/

3.) Power steering reservoir. The original is bolted directly to engine. But I can not see how it would work with the new engine.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Bob

All the answers are here already if you spend the time reading, but here are the answers your looking for.

1) If you kept the GS radiator you need to adapt a hose to work. We always use a GATES 22997, just cut off the curve on the left side, and massage it onto the water neck, once it heats up it will relax into place.

2) You're talking about the Gray plug correct? It's the immobilizer connector and you just let it hang, nothing to plug it into.

3) The Aristo has a remote power steering reservoir. Your engine importer should have sent it to you if they were selling complete swaps. It mounts on the shock tower.

4) you have to wire the tach from the tach output on the igniter to the chassis tach wire.

Attached is an older pic of Kyle's bay that shows the Gates hose and the PS Resi in place.

How about the lower hose. I just noticed mine is slightly kinked. That's not good. Will an OEM Lexus GS300 one work or do I need a different one? Thank you.
