Default Professor_Braps SC300 revival from the dead

Here we go again, another forum another build thread.

The car purchased is a 1992 SC300 purchased for the low low price of $300. "non running condition".

Backstory: I am a Toyota guy through and through, but like all makes and models. i skewed away from Toyota for a year or so to mess with some domestic fwd turbo cars and found my way home. I guess out of the 50+ cars that I have owned I know who makes the best car .

I saw the car for sale almost a year ago for $1500 off a car trader page on the faceplace, and almost messaged the guy. Well as the time went and the car never sold the guy told me he gave it to his little brother who was 15 at the time. The little brother riced the car out.... and never made it run. its got a muffler delete and a "****" and a beat **** carbon hood. About a week ago I saw it get posted up for $300 again, on a local page. I messaged him and told him I was on my way, and 12hrs and 600 mile round trip I now own a 1992 sc300 that doesnt run.

Todays plan is to figure out whats wrong. It cranks, so thats a plus, will be checking spark and fuel pressure and checking for codes.

Pictures will be posted later, the car has been setting for around a year under a tree, so its kinda nasty but in good shape thankfully.

Plans are to go NA-T on a AEM FIC 6 1910 and some 550cc injectors and decide about trans once i drive it.
