Got a few updates:

The Supra is down currently and I'm working on doing a custom 4" downpipe and midpipe to go with the exhaust. So once the Supra is taken car of, I'll be putting the SC under the knife. Some more parts for the build:

Your set up is very close to what I am doing, except I am converting to coil on plug and using the digital cam/crank sensors along with Head-Games cam sensor boss in my GE head. I am using GTE cams with a GE motor. PHR makes a driveshaft you can use for the GTE trans and Supra Auto TT rear end. Should be fun. I look forward to updates from you.

Sorry, just seen this. Yes, as Steve suggests, go with 2 coolers. BIG coolers. Just be careful about fan placement. If you use a puller fan, make sure it is pulling air towards the radiator, not away from it. You don't want your ATF fan fighting your radiator fan. My setup was a cheapo $30 cooler in front of the biggest ATF cooler I could find. It was a Tru-Cool LPD4739. Rated 40,000 GVW and measures 8.5"x22.75"x1.25". $140 on Amazon. I bought it primarily to try to make my dying transmission last. I did a temperature test using my AEM coolant temp sensor and before adding that big cooler, I seen temps up to 180s. Which is the operating range of the transmission anyway. But by that time, the transmission was just slipping so much. I had no first gear. So then I added that cooler and never saw over 165. It works great. Also, make sure to get a coolant temp sensor so that you can monitor temps. Unless you are doing it through the Pro-EFI. If you have a $3500 built ATF trans, you will want to know the temps at all times.

So, I had the small one in front of the big one. Both in front of the radiator (removed AC condenser). Then had a pusher fan in front of the small cooler pushing all the way through both coolers and the radiator. So it was also helping to aid radiator airflow

Yes, definitely! I'll probably buy that same cooler you were talking about. That way I have 2. For sure.

Yeah, this is a tough one. I also have an Aristo engine (which I'm building) so I'm REALLY tempted to drop it in! This is basically a backup engine for the supra. Also since I plan to DD this car, I basically want to try and keep it as close to stock for drivability purposes. This may change of course in the future.

Well actually this is basically a Garrett/precision "hybrid" turbo. The CHRA, compressor wheel is a Garrett 64mm, but the turbine wheel and housing is a Precision turbo. It's custom, but it's basically very similar to the Precision turbos.

Some cleaned up pics...still getting parts together:

Hello so a little update here. I am REALLY looking forward to pushing forward on this SC300 build. I unfortunatily have come to the conclusion that the engine in the Supra is not healthy. So I'm pulling the engine, replacing it, and testing it once it's all done.

I really need to get the Supra up and running before I can really dig in. Here are some pics:

Don't think I didn't forget about this build! I'm still working on the Supra. I almost have the engine fully assembled and ready to mated to the transmission. I think in 3-4 weeks I can start on this project.

It might not be a bad idea to go for a VVTi head on the Supra.

Sorry to bring this back up from the dead.... Any updates? I was searching the forums for a write up on wiring the Pro Efi 128 to the aristo tt trans, and came across your thread. Can anyone chime in on how to wire up the aristo tt to the pro efi? (Jdm tt a340 has 7 solenoids and the usdm tt has 5). Only shows the usdm tt on pro efi website. But want to see if anyone has an actual pin out of how to wire up the extra solenoids, or a work around. Thank you.
