Heres a close up of all the plumbing

and this is the front with the spindle off. I had to modify the lower shock mounts a little bit. The factory hole is metric I believe, close to 9/16" and my heim joints are 1/2" bore. So i drilled the hole out to 5/8" and ran a sleeve (5/8"OD 1/2"ID) on either side of the heim and a half inch bolt (grade 8)

I do want to go on record and trump all the comments iv seen on any GS/hydraulic related threads about having to chop a bunch of stuff! The only modifications i Made to the car outside of the obvious of adding the tanks etc. was drilling out the lower shock mounts to fit a larger sleeve, and drilling 2 holes in the firewall to run lines through.

right! Its about 12-13" from the ground to the rockers when fully locked.
and about 2" from the ground fully dropped. The tires rest on the inner wheel well when its dropped.
im happy with that for right now, but when i go to do the aristo swap i will probably tub it out so it will lay out. It doesnt need much.

how much different does it drive at that height? I know jack ***** about hydros except they need lots of batteries and they use fluid and they are prone to leaks (from what I have heard)
is it a harsher ride than air? do you have a cruise height?

my ride height is with the tires just out of the wheel opening, at that height it rides real smooth, just like baggs (i have accumulators that are basically shock absorbers). fully lifted it rides rough like a honda with cheap springs, (i only jack it when im hittin main street to show out lol)
batterys you can run it with 2 batterys (24v) iv got 3 in mine the more batterys the quicker the response. Im not hopping or dancing or any of that garbage nice and slow for me. And as far as leaks go as long as you use teflon tape on all your npt fittings and crank em down nice and tight just like an air ride setup you wont have any issues.

Thanks man. The alignment depends on what height i have it at. If i set it at the height i got it aligned at its very little to none, I dont have accuair yet (sensors that will set it at a spacific programed height with the push of a button). So for now i have to basically eyeball it, i cant get it right on the money per-say but pretty darn close. But an accuair set-up is definitely in the future!

Nice work, and some real ingenuity there. Funny, you east coast guys raise 'em to show off... and us west coast guys pancake 'em!
