The only thing I can't do is program the clock. Which is no biggie for me since I ended up pulling it out and mounting the processor controller in there anyway

Mind me asking what DSP you're using? Any pics of how your controller looks now? I'm currently debating on the Mosconi 8to12 Aerospace or a Helix Pro MK2, but not sure where I'd mount an RCD/Director Controller.

I've been collecting gear since the beginning of the year and am putting together a Sinfoni 3-way front stage, but haven't decided if i want the mid/tweeters in the a-pillars or in the factory location similar to yours.

Sounds like you're gonna have one killer system when you're ready to do it!. I'm using the moconi 8 to 12 aerospace. I can't find the pics but what I did was take the mini rcd controller and remove the aluminum case and ****. All that was left was the board and I was able to fit that into the housing for the factory clock. The mini rcd also has a remote eye and comes pre programmed for alpine remotes. I also installed a pac audio swi-x for my steering wheel controls. That one uses a ir transmitter and can be programmed to work with alpine. That gives me volume, preset and subwoofer control, straight from the steering wheel! I didn't play around with a pillars in this car but that is usually my go to in other cars. I really like the imaging on the dash pods and they look a little cleaner. There is better depth in the sound stage and really no loss in width. I'd say do dash pods!! Oh and the 8 to 12 aerospace is an amazing processor. It was a huge difference from my previous 6 to 8 v8 So much more depth and detail, especially on digital input

Gonna start working on this car again. It needs a little refresher after driving it for a few years. Working on a little exterior make over, nothing to crazy. Also may change up some of the audio system. Since I started this thread, the only thing that’s changed is the front stage. JL Audio hooked it up with a set of C7 3 way components to test out and compare to the Morel 3 ways. I ended up sticking with the JLs for now. More to come, hopefully soon. If anyone is interested in following more build stuff, follow me on Instagram @stigs_asian_cousin. I post way more there than I do on here

Any updates? I've seen a few pics circulating on social media with new TV screen processing units that fit in the OEM location? Has anyone else seen this?
