An irritating detail. The V160 tunnel was in the way for the ashtray/ cig lighter. Cut away the backside of the unit to make it fit.

Centre console in place.

Parking brake handle, carpet and inner roof in place. The bolt holes for the parking brake is the same on the sc and supra.
The SC dash is a bit wider than the supra, so I had to shave a couple of cm´s away on the door trim to make it fit.

The seats from the SC was in pretty good condition. My initial plan was to use them. I painted them black and everything.

Leather paint kit from the U.K.

The SC seats looked good in the car, but they are a bit higher than the Supra seats. This made it a bit too tight between the Steering wheel and the drivers seat (forgot to take a picture), so I decided to go for Supra seats instead. I found a pair of USDM leather seats,

I will keep them cream for now. Kind of like the contrast.

As you can see here, the dash fitting isn´t that bad.I´ve camoflaged the gaps with black foam rubber The carpet from the SC blends in quite well I should say. A new manual shifter console and a shifter **** from my manual sc300.

fuel gauges/ fuel pump

Since I´m using the complete body harness from the SC, I had to mate the fuel pump loom with the supra one.

On the supra the fuel pump and the fuel sender gauge is in the same unit. On the Sc they are separate

marks the wire to the fuel pump unit on the supra. This one had to be mated with th SC body harness. I never followed any manual when doing the electrical wiring. I followed every single wire to see where it went and then mated it with the corresponding wire on the SC harness

The supra fuelpump/sender gauge unit closest to the camera. The SC sender unit lays next to it. I had to figure out which wire should go where

soldering and heatshrinking the wires from the SC harness to the fuelpump unit. The yellow one is from the SC harness.

head lights

Some minor adjustments where needed because of the SC harness. The sockets for the high and low beam where almost a direct fit.

Changed this one out to fit the SC sockets into the supra head light

Blinkers / turn signal light

The turn signal/blinkers in the fenders had the same connectors on the Supra and the SC. The wire on the SC harness was too short though.

Wire to turn signal light extended.

rear lights

The rear light had the same connectors/ sockets on all but one light. Another difference is that the SC has 3 bulbs for the turn signal instead of one on the supra.

The rear light loom. SC to the left with 6 bulbs and the supra to the right. Easy to adapt the SC loom to be used on the Supra light.

door right side

Once again the SC body harness generated some work. The connectors from the door to the body is totaly different on the Supra compared with the SC. I had to do a transplant here as well and use the SC door loom.

Supra door with the trim board removed.

SC parts from right/passenger door: Loom, speaker box, mirror, window motor, door lock

Corresponding Supra parts from right door

Different body plugs on the door looms. SC to the left.

Door right side

Door speakers. SC to the left. As you see the speaker was blown on the supra.

Door lock mechanism. SC to the left. Different construction.

This one I couldn´t figure out. The central locking mechanism is different between the supra and the SC. I haven´t yet figured out how to mate the wires from the SC harness with the Supra locking mechanism , If someone has any info about this it would be appreciated.

the window motors where similar but not the same. Easy though to hook up the supra window motor with the SC harness.
SC motor to the left.

Door right side

The electric mirror function had different design on the Supra and the SC. The SC has a small circuit card attached to the motors steering the mirror. I saved these and mated them with the wires to the mirror motors on the supra . I placed this unit from SC in the door, not in the mirror.

Electrical mirror units. SC to the left.

Mirror unit on the supra

Mirror unit from the SC where I have extended the wires to the motors to go to the supra ones. I placed this little box inside the door, behind the speaker.

Locking mechansim. SC to the left. The SC unit Couldn´t be used on the Supra
