I bought a kit to do it myself. I daily it so I can't afford to have it on jacks for a week while leaving it at a powdercoating shop. Wheel Techniques in the Fremont area is one place I know of that will powdercoat if that's the route you're going.

I don't want to have it powder coated either, but i sadly don't have the time to take on the project myself.

They look good.

I've been debating doing powder coating, not sure yet. Was going to spray them today but it was too humid, raining like a hurricane here right now.

Bags acquired. This weekends project, get the management done. I'll get the struts on later. I've found it much easier to get the management installed, tank mounted, lines ran and then power it up for a week. You make sure it all works and have the tank pressured to ensure no leaks, then slap the struts on in a day! Better than knocking it all out in a weekend. Coming from having done it twice by myself, I only use the shop for height sensor install and alignment.

More progress:

-Compressors, manifold, and power block mounted in the spare wheel spot
-Power / control pad wires ran, tapped 12v source
-All grounds and electrical connections complete
-Powers up and functions! Tank holds air and compressors run like they should

Need to:
-Get the tank resprayed again in USB (bubbling)
-Mount that in the trunk
-Put the back seat / trunk carpet back together after tank is mounted
-Struts mounted / front toe arms / rear upper toe arms / air lines ran for the struts

Productive weekend, I like picking at this bit by bit instead of working like a dog for an entire weekend. Could be done in a weekend if I had a lift and some friends, or a weekend by a professional shop but that's $$$$$$$$ and I've done this twice by myself already. Once with a single friend and another all by myself.

Here's the relisted version but they want like $356 and I only paid $272 (by some miracle). The price bounces around so wait for it to drop and message them asking for less

Yes, I removed the bumper. In theory, it's possible to do it without removing the bumper and just peeling the plastic underneath back but I found it MUCH easier to just take the bumper off and do it right. Plus I had to remove my HIDs from the old fogs and install the '12 headlights so mine was already off anyways

thank you for the info. i'll wait for the price drop lol. it's not a priority. I've heard it's easy to remove front/rear bumper covers. any insight?

It is easy, takes 5 minutes if you know what you're doing 10-15 for your first time. Google it or search here.

Changed my mind and un-did the thing.

Might go for a functional build I can drive hard, might swap over to a CTS-V. Either way, here's the current state.
