Default wnguyen350's Build Thread

Hello! I just bought my 2016 Lexus IS 350 F Sport last week on MLK Day. I got her in that beautiful ultrasonic blue mica 2.0! Traded my FRS in for the car, I'm going to miss driving stick but this car is really fun to drive and has way more room and way more practical. I work at a shop that specializes in paint protection/paint coatings and I am in the process of putting on Xpel and ceramic pro on the car. I would also be wrapping the roof, mirrors, trim and tinting the window as well. Let me first give you a background of my car history. My first car I drove was my parents' '96 C-Class Benz. Then I bought an Integra which I had for about 2 years. It was the first car I bought with my own money! Then after that I bought a FRS and owned it for a little over a year and decided to get a Lexus and of course I named her Alexis...lol (I know how original...).

My Integra's name was Angelina.
Ruby Red Pearl 2001 LS

My FRS' name was Adriana.
Asphalt 2013 Base

Her first bath. Told the dealer not to wash the car so there would be no swirl marks (didn't use the foam brush at the car wash I brought my own sponges.) 1/21/16

Prepping for paint correction 1/22/16

Starting to Xpel the Front end 1/22/16

Your previous two cars were awesome too, I can't wait to see whats in store for the IS.

I, myself had a turbo DA Integra way way back when LS VTEC was the cool kid thing to do lol.

Anyway, can't wait to see more!

Lol isn't honda like 90% of people starter vehicle? I know back in high school everyone owned a honda, unless you grew up in the right family/neighborhood haha.

Love the color. Have you been able to locate a good performing intake for the 2016 IS350?

Now my car is completely bone stock and has 17K+ miles on it...Now I'm currently in the market for an IS F because I need that V8 lol. Looking back, I loved the way my car turned out and everything but it was a big mistake. Me getting this car ended a relationship with my girlfriend. She said I chose the car over her when I started modding it. That was why I parted out everything so quickly because I felt guilty. I took down all my pics of my car and took down my social media and became super low key. Nonetheless, I had my fun with my car but it's only fun while speeding because it's not engaging. I wish it came with a manual. This is why I need an IS F....more hp means more fun lol and since my gf is now my ex I can go and continue modding this car again or go get an IS F. I should have gotten an IS F in the beginning...but you know...LIFE....you live and you learn from your mistakes and try to better yourself and continue learning about life.
