Whats up all. Started this little thread here to kind of detail my little journey into modding this beautiful car. My other ride is a 98 Eclipse GST (aka live in the garage, aka Money Black hole) but I love her lol.
My 2009 IS has the luxury package so i cant really complain. not to bad of a little setup.
This was The day after i bought her. ( yeah the dealer washed her but you know that I had to give her some love myself)
everyone has a car shot. this is my before!
What I am planning:
Intake and Filter Upgrades - Done
Suspension - Still researching, Savannah doesn't have the nicest roads in the world so cant go to low and not to stiff.
ISF Steering ECU upgrade..
Interior- Some panel wrapping or painting will definitely be getting done ( hmm to white carbon fiber or not... that is the question)
Interior lights all switch to LEDs along with door lights and trunk light. The light under the side view mirrors are next
Exterior:
The Grill has got to go!
Headlight Eyelids- (waiting to be installed)
Possibly back window spoiler ??? and new trunk spoiler??
Def going to need to some new wheels but that is last on my list.
I am pretty sure that I will add some more stuff to this as I go.
It has got to be easier than doing the damn eclipse... I hope.

Modified the box a little. Cut a small rectangle out of it to amplify the Noise of the Intake. All i can say is that I,m VERY pleased with the sound on acceleration! Better throttle response too
Here are the Eyelids. Just positioning to see how they would look. The color Match is perfect. I think that i am going to take the headlights apart and paint the inside black before i attach the eyelids.

I like those door lights! That's pretty cool...maybe I'll look into getting those myself :P
Nice start. I personally don't care for the look of the eyelids. It just looks off with the hood/ bumper lines to me. As long as you like them, it's all that matters.

yanno that is the main reason i have no put them on yet. the lines are nice up top the only one that bother me is the bottom inside corners
