Default Lexus isf with sc/ls 400 ITBs?

Was just doing some quick research on this topic but couldn't find any thing. The music the 2ur would make on itbs!!. Focus in the itb gaskets and the 2ur manifold mateing surface. They are not far off
what are your insights go!?

That will dramatically change the powerband and likely bias it toward high rpm torque. Might be fine for a race application, but I doubt it would be as versatile as the OEM setup for street use. The other key point is the biggest gains in any intake are in the last 1/2" before the valve. Pretty much everything else depends on this part being right. We also know the 2URs benefit the most from exhaust changes if you're not doing any port work.

Cool, sure. Practical, probably not.

BMW uses itbs for stock cars and so do alot of motorcycle brands. Some of us like to race our F's so... practicality ... who cares at the end of the day my car is still gonna be reliable and its gonna sound good and perform good and its fast. so that's what makes me and alot of isf owners happy.

I cut my teeth building championship winning road race bike engines. I'm very familiar. Short stacks like those will suck on the street. If they merged into a plenum, they'd be awesome better than OEM but again for high rpm torque.

Everybody likes race stuff until you actually live with it daily. AMHIK.

Gsxrlover no disrespect but lobuxracer has been here a minute and has a few more posts than others. He knows a thing or two about engines and these cars.

Exactly as stated above: "Everybody wants a race car, until they get a race car."
