Haven't seen one honestly but I doubt it will be a problem . It has the A650e transmission which basically has same physical size as the A340e / A341e transmission and all the cars with the latter transmissions have no problem fitting a V160.

I talked to Cam at tweaked, he said they can do a dual ecu harness for the 430 that would have everything working right, and if I want to use a usdm ecu for a little extra they can make it all obd2 compliant which would be sweet and what I wanted. He said they have done one harness for a sc430 2jz swap before but it wasn't obd2 compliant, it was just a regular JDM swap. So the wiring can be worked out, if I do end up finding the chassis and doing the swap I will likely just get the harness done by them to save myself some time.

There is a light hit SC430 near me. Aliga has it for $4200! He just texted me this.
EDIT: It is posted now. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/lex...ht-damage.html

Yeah thanks, he sent me that already =) I am looking for one that doesn't need any body or mechanical work w/ a clean title. Don't have the time I used to for these projects. The price is good though for someone looking to put in some work.

I'm glad she's inspired others, yours turned out fabulously, that 68k though!! =)

Lately I have been feeling like my SC needs a good bit of TLC.

Something has been squeaking over every little bump... and its annoying the @%@# out of me.
I think its probably those poly lower control arm bushings, but I am not positive... guessing they ran out of grease. also I get a clunk when coming to a stop sometimes. Really feel stupid cause that was the whole reason I changed to poly was a clunk, and now its clunking and squeaking.

I think its time to throw some supra lower control arms at the problem, what I should have done in the first place. Also figure a good time for new sway bar end links... would throw a new power steering rack at it if it was easier to get to... is the supra one the same I wouldn't mind throwing that on there?

you guys think I should do the upper control arms at the same time? any other stuff I should knock out?

I want it to ride like its supposed to with no squeaks or wandering. right now its a little twichy at very high speeds I feel like its the old balljoints and whatever play is in those poly bushings that are clunking. hopefully if I throw on these parts it will be cured, otherwise I might just park it in a lake or something.

If I got you right , you are not keeping it once you get an SC430 ...

then just sell it and throw that money towards your SC430 acquisition .

its too squeaky now, I gotta do the lowers at least or no one will want it, I think Ill just do that and end links.
I may just spray that whole bushing down with some lithium grease and see if it does anything first.
I have been debating keeping the SC around even if I get the 430, but if someone wanted it I would probably sell it and move on...
I know I am all over the place lately lol #Bachelorlifepriorities

It would be easier if I had a 3 car garage or extra space to park some of them

also been trying to figure out if these wheels will fit with a slight pull.
19x9 in front +23 and 19x9.5 +24 Rear
They are real Work Meister SP1's so I am hoping the answer is yes cause its a pretty great deal

You will need a roll and a pull to get them in . In one of my cars I have 9" +24 for the front with 245/40 tires and 10" +22 with 315/35 tires for the rears but I had to roll and pull the fenders. The pull will depend of the size and model of tires. Some tires are narrower even if they have same width as other brands.

wow, that looks beefy. yeah I have no issue with rolling and pulling the rear some, but I am thinking I rather have 18's and at least a 10" width out back, so looks like I will be passing on that set.

going to see a black SC430 with saddle interior this weekend, but I have a feeling I might have to find another one cause my father seems to want this one... hes been wanting a SL500 but I keep telling him the sc430 will be much easier to maintain, we shall see what happens.

dang those SL500 are nice but costs to maintain an MB aint a joke. If I don't maintain my own MB sedan , I would have given it away a long time ago due to the cost of getting it done and the prices of parts. You are right about Lexus being easier and cheaper to maintain.

18" will be a lot better so you can have more meat on your tires. I pulled those fenders so I can accomodate 345s ... right now I have 315s on 10" wheels. I still have at least 15-20cm space on each side of the tire so I can get in 345s with 11.5" or 12" wheels of the same offset .

Well said, with a nice MB you have to maintain it yourself pretty much or be prepared to pay up, and I figure I will end up maintaining it and that doesn't sound fun at all.

345's is awesome, that is pretty good for a mild pull. I guess you need that to put down all that power.
Yeah the extra meat would be nice and tire selection is better, I think 295 or 315 is what I would go for ideally.

I think I will hold off on building the sc300 too much more, just going to fix up the things it needs and a new wheel setup. Gotta fix that dent in the rear also soon. the shop I use for that stuff is backed up for a couple months it seems so it will give me some time to pull and roll the fenders before it goes in for some paint. was going to do the poly bodykit but if I am building a 430 I rather invest my money on that, the SC has always looked good to me even with a stock body.

This kind of hits on something I've been wanting to do. I run TT wheels, I like them because I think they look clean while still remaining subtle, not flashy, kind of under the radar look. I would like to get the rears widened so I can run 315s correctly (not bulging out on a 9" wide wheel). Any idea about how wide I could get them widened and still fit without interfering with oem style suspension, and my fenders (rolled only)? I'd like to go as wide as I can, like say 10.5"? With a normal allignment for traction, not stance.
