New member: Junkyard Revival! 92' Sc400 Build
Hey there guys an gals!
Just bought this 92' sc400 out of a friends junkyard stash. So far im 1200$ into it with the price of the car... He told me it ran when it got here (6-8 months ago) he said it had a noise coming from the flywheel area (Cracked flywheel maybe?) and then it stopped running all together. Not familiar with these cars at all but i am starting my research in hopes of learning alot!
Any ideas on what it could be? still turns over but dosent start.
The build plan:
Id really like to think of the main goal as a twin turbo 5 speed car.
i have a twin turbo fairlady z as a parts car that was hit lightly upfront to help out.
Id like to swap the tan interior for black leather with carbon fiber accents
respray the black. Definitely needs more low and a wheel and tire upgrade.
So here it goes my Gradual sc400 build Straight out of the junkyard!

First off welcome to CL. Also, you should introduce yourself in the new member thread. In addition become familiar with the rules of the forum-and the search option, and use of the sticky up at the top. Chances are there is something already done, done, and done again by someone on here? As far as your SC. Seems like a good project car to begin with? This is good when our cars are rescued and brought back to life. GL and keep us posted.
