Good day to all! This will be a slow build so bare with me. To start, I'll give a sneak peek at one of my rear bumpers. I know this has been done before. I just couldn't shake it off and had to do it. Front bumper coming soon.
Concept One wheels. 20x10 all around. Oh no, not another concave wheel. Had to. I love that they have a lip. I have some black chrome vinyl wrap and might wrap the lips with it. Will further update.
did you use an IS splitter to mold it to the stock bumper?
great job looks good!
Thanks EJ! No where near your build but loving the process. Yes, I had the IS rear diffuser molded to a stock GS bumper. I'm planning on buying another rear bumper and trunk for another look and I'm currently having a stock front bumper slightly modified. I'll post pictures when I pass by the shop. This will be a slow build but slow is better than no!
Received a special delivery today. Vais SL3B courtesy of PWRSTEVE. Shipped same day as payment was sent and packaging was on point. Won't have time to install until Saturday so it'll just be staring at me from my nightstand for now.
what do you mean no where near my build? im betting that IS bumper will come out way better than mine
EJ, you are too kind. You have a monster in the works while I'm just beginning. But I definitely appreciate the words of encouragement. This is my first build and I'm excited. The bumper was almost done but I decided on adding something to it so maybe another week before I can put it on.
Do you have more pictures of the process it went with the mold? I wonder how it would look with out it being molded
I was taking pictures every step of the way but my memory card corrupted my photos. I'm working on saving them but it's not looking good. I can tell you that the corners of the diffuser does not flow with the GS bumper and it should be molded to take shape of the stock bumper lines. Now I want to add a mesh to it so it's back under the knife.
Yesterday I installed the Vais SL3B unit. Easier than I expected. It works perfectly and I've been finding any excuse to use the car just so I can listen to my old school hip hop. Yeah, I know I can listen to the same music at home but it feels good to roll the windows down and blast the music and pretend I have nowhere to be.
I haven't put the center wood trim back because I'd like to buy a USB extension with a splitter to charge more than one device at a time without having to use the cigarette setup.

i know what your adding
but man its too far from being a "monster" i still haven't painted my bumper yet and you getting yours molded nicely
I got around to installing the aftermarket tire pressure sensors that comes with live reading monitor. I'll soon be custom fitting the monitor somewhere, possibly the ash tray but not sure yet. I've had them on for almost a week now and all is good so far. It also reads tire temperatures.
