Default 93 sc400 1 jzgte vvti jzx100

He contacted me and I haft to say they guy is a big help. I will definitely use his service for my swap...
One question that comes to mind after doing some reading on the r154 . From what I have seen is that some of the r 154 models don't line up 100% .. I have the sc400 1993 and am using a 98 1jzx jzgte vvti and r154 what kind of problems am I going to run into when mounting the new transmission?

You are going to have to do 6 speed supra TT tunnel to fit the transmission......this is the correct way to do it..

Or you could just cut a hole where shifter comes up through.....

Check out my build thread.....this page should give you an idea of how I did mine...

I think it's somewhere between 15-20, but I always did mine a little bit past finger tight and never used a torque wrench to tighten them in

I've wondered the same thing. I figure that during shipping from Japan to the seller, maybe some blades broke so they figure, just take it all off since it's practically useless. I could be wrong though.

That was a thought of mine as well ... It's hard to find a swap that has everything on it always seems like something is missing

Default Sorry guys

well I hate to bum you guys out. I had some problems getting a good 1j so I went with a 2jz get vvti . It's being shipped as we speak and going to try to get harness in to be built by tomorrow ... Now if you guys are still here with me I could use some help. I've herd I can use my sc400 fan still and hers my drive shaft will bolt up cuz it's a auto swap... I'm unsure about the single turbo swap I'm not sure what or how it's all done I'm guessing u can't just put new manifold on and new turbo and it's going to work so was wondering how that works as well . Also I will be out in the junk yard all day Thursday looking for a cluster from a sc300 any thing u guys can throw my way about this swap would be appreciated... Getting a rear sump and mounts soon...

I'm in the process of attempting this swap so far I have gotten the motor and motor mounts a rear sump pan from sc300
Now as far as the water neck sensor I'm not sure what one I need
And how can I use my sc400 hydro fan like tweak did
Also can anybody explain the return fuel line thing
Do I need to do this and if so how

1uzfe is coming out

Motor out

New motor

This is what I think is the water neck sensor hole but no sensor what sensor would I use to make my temp gauge work

Here's a good reference I found on another thread.... This is the sc300 pan ... You haft to drill and tap the 2 bolt holes .. The holes are 8m and 1.25 pitch the center hole I drilled out at 20mm

My mid sump 300 pan

The inside of the bottom end

The oil return drilled out tapped and new bolt studs 8m 1.25 pitch and a 20mm center hole

A better picture of the drilled out oil return

And the poor uZ motor in the corner looking lonely .... It's for sale and runs and shifts perfect...

The mid sump pan on the left and the old front sump pan on the right
