Really rude man...
Lol. I don't tolerate people coming into my thread and rambling about unrelated ****. I was actually nice enough to guide him to the right place.

Maybe I missed it, but which "gear" are you running it in?
Sorry, I forgot to reply to this post. Vehicle runs in D. ECU uses the assumed D signal to adjust the air fuel ratio.

What about the front trans speed sensor? Did it ever throw a code for that?

No code is thrown for the front. Makes me wonder what else the logic looks at for the rear.

Interior pic because I'm bored. Swapped out my TRD **** back to the bubble flower ****. The extra leverage sure is nice.

That's good to hear! Trying my best to document the swap. Cutting through the firewall was made easy because my drill has a swivel head and it's pretty compact making it fit in the engine bay pretty easy.

I haven't had the motivation to work on the car or drive it (until recently). The only code I would be able to fix is the rear speed sensor. Probably just tie it to the abs and call it a day. As for the NSS, only way is to go with a '98 ecu and keys if I wanted to keep all functionality of the obd system.

Thanks! Will try, it's been rough trying to keep my motivation up.

Finally taking her out to the track on Feb 27. I registered for TRD Cup, a new Time Attack series in SoCal for all Toyota vehicles.

www.trdcup.com

Still needs a lot of prep done! Stay tuned.

How do you like the shifter placement overall? I'm about to start pulling my auto and measuring (as soon as I find some of that fabled motivation). From the pics your seems to be in a pretty comfortable position.

With my 4" extension, the mk3 shifter placed 2nd, 4th, and R too far back to my liking. My arm kept hitting my bucket seat when shifting.

I then had to cut and weld the s3 shifter (it was painful!) to straighten it out. I left a 2° bend going rearwards and now it's very comfortable and a pleasure to drive.

Here's how it sits in Neutral. Don't mind the rags, slowly working on a cover

If you leave the mk3 bends, maybe a 2.5" extension would be good, 4" is def too much for the stock bend.

Replaced with a reman Denso. Old hoses and connectors are the worse, cracked every single one I touched :T

Drained and filled the R154 with MT90. Also rerouted some wiring. I need to find a way to head over to Danny's shop to get an alignment before Saturday's track day...hmm.

Track day was a blast on Saturday! Clocked an awesomely slow time of 1:37 at Streets of Willow, counter clockwise configuration. Not bad steering this 1 ton car on ****ty tires! My group was running an average of 1:34 in sports cars on summer tires. I'm curious how the GS would do with 255 RS3s on all 4 corners.

It was a workout keeping the weight of the car in check. I would have to brake earlier or cruise the main straights to prevent brake fade.

At the tires limit, the GS was predictable. A little throttle on exit and she was happy to play! So much so, I got in trouble for sliding everywhere!

Sadly no video, got some boring straight away shots though...
