Filthy Build
Brought the car home last summer and enjoyed her a bit.
She was a bit neglected .
Over the winter I pulled the motor and got to work.
Powder coated lots of things
Polished the manifold. Came out pretty damn good.
Built the motor up with ARP studs, GTE rods and pistons and King Race bearings
Came together pretty good in the end. All ready for spring.
Early this summer I had a bit of an issue, the bolt for bellhousing to R154 came loose, only part of the car I didn't touch .
Things touched to shouldn't have. Ended up breaking the back of the block off, destroyed the bellhousing and input shaft. The DSS driveshaft also failed.
So I ripped it apart again and built another motor.
This time it got a black block with heat dissipating paint and a Merlin Crawler upgraded R154 and hardened bolts for the bellhousing.
Headed to Street Machines in Lethbridge, AB, Canada.
Back on the road for the summer.
