1uz sc400 turbo and supercharger
So im kinda board with the single turbo on my sc400 1uz.... Im thinking twin turbo.......... And supercharger what supercharger would be ok to boost... Im going to order a some new turbos and get new pipe lol....when i pull the engine again to replace the oil pan from hitting a dip to hard and now it's leaking so then i can make the set up easier and do a wire tuck......so what would be a good supercharger to boost without cutting up my hood if i have to i will for a small Cowell but trying not too

Had any one done a supercharger and turbo here... Does anyone know of a good blower that can handle turbos boosting it?? From my understanding the m112 and m90 can but can only handle so much boost where they just few wheel but create lots of heat

howd you get bored of a single turbo 400?
just crank up the boost and throw cams at it.
the whipple will only work down low and you have power down low already (v8 remember).
where are you loking to add power, what range? IMO a single turbo is perfect for this engine.
look into cams and a standalone and more boost to make more power.

I don't get it, is this a joke? Depending on how big the single is you should be able to boost the motor beyond what is even possible on pump gas with the 1UZ. I'll admit that I don't know that much about the 1UZ but 12psi is probably the most that engine could handle without being built; thicker head gasket, different pistons, intercooler (if you don't have one yet). Even running 9psi, at peak cylinder volume, you are achieving the torque of 6.5L of displacement at the static compression ratio, that's approximately 500ft-lbs. I say try to figure out a way to maximize the efficacy of your single set up or give up and either buy a GT-R or build the motor from the block up.
