And finally, the car has a turning circle.
I mean, its close to perfect now and so I will aim to have the car MOT tested this week.
Here's a photo my friend snapped of me after a quick drive around the block in it. It scrubs on occasion, but only very lightly. I don't see damage, just rubber wear on the tyres.
Its going to be a work in progress.

Yea now that I think about it, it does look neater that way.

Came out the workshop after a full polish, so it went straight down my unit for a good once over clean. inside and out.
Also booked in for exhausts to be made up on Monday.
Livery to come after, and still discussing air ride deals with a couple shops

Also , is anyone running sideskirts like these?

These are not available in the UK unless I go for real cheap eBay plastic ones. I am after CF honestly but can settle for plastic because it may be painted anyway. I will be having words with Lexon to see if they can send me their lip and skirts.

I then took a trip down to WheelPower to have my tyres fitted.
I ended up ordering 235/35 front and 255/30 rear as recommended by Lexon Exclusive. We were there for an hour and it just wouldn't blow past the lip.
Ray at wheelpower has now ordered in some bigger tyres 245/35 and 265/30 to try again tomorrow.

Its sort of bad news all round because i planned to head straight back to the shop and sort my suspension set up out. But hey, what can you do?
After work today I headed up there again and Iain had banned me from moving my car. I didn't have a clue why, and then I opened the door..

This is a genuine Wald spoiler; we don't actually know why it didn't sit flush with the car.. It needed quite a bit of weight for it to just cuddle up to the boot edge. It wasn't a bad fit, or a mould. It's injected plastic, and looked of very good quality.
So I guess they resorted to... this sort of tactic.
Wheels look good

So weeks have past and I must admit it's getting some attention, some good some bad, but like an old friend said you can't please them all.
I got accepted into a group called Raceism and things are going smooth.
I think I hit the jackpot because I am able to get air ride for the car for less than £2500 now Im associated with Raceism! Just waiting on the mechanic to get back to me about it and see if he is able to custom build the struts.
Here's a few photos from Global Grind meet.
i'm also wondering if anyone has had any custom made covers to cover the exhaust tabs on the ISF rear bumper? Or have you just cut them?

Well, it's been a while guys.

I took the car around Europe since it was built, it's had a few upgrades since this build thread.

I decided coilovers wasn't the way to go with the state of our roads - D2 manual air ride was installed; it didn't take me long to upgrade to 3/8 lines and digital management.

Unfortunately, early 2018 the car was hit by a bus on its local route outside my home address which resulted to mechanical/suspension damage to the front offside of the car. Fortunately, no cosmetic damage as I'm not entirely sure how much my widebody kit sponsor would've paid for just 1 piece to be delivered from Japan.

Anyway, below is how the last 2 years went. I took a break from this car in 2019... Purely because I ran out of ideas. I was approached by HKS through Lexon Exclusive for an SC build however I have been very reluctant.

So anyway, it's time to bring the lexus back out... 2020/2021 will see some major changes, as the 2IS and 3IS are becoming more and more affordable I'm seeing a lot more of the same builds! Time for me to go harder, I'm now looking at engine swap, roll cage , gearbox upgrades, performance suspension set ups - maybe air cups? Performance based wheels rather than bling bling wheels, phat aero and a few other deemed 'rather tasteless' mods probably.

Stay tuned!

2017 it looked a bit like this - https://www.redbull.com/gb-en/buying...s-for-your-car

2018, i had it wrapped a different colour -

2019 - I built a deliveroo drift car, took it to our show in poland and smashed it up.

Hi guys
So, the car was up for sale for a brief stint. Life kind of got in the way. But it never sold because no one would make any serious offers.
So here I am, back to the drawing board.

This year will be the engine swap.
My engine swap build thread will be shared across this and Driftworks forum. I will try and keep both up to date.
If you use Instagram, you can find me on @Jesse_UNTD

I will be going for a turbo'd M54 lump out of a BMW.

I've always been a BMW man, they are cheap and reliable and will happily get beaten when required. It'll be a good mock up for an S54 if I can get my hands on one.
