Cool article on your car!
You mentioned you'll be in NJ in October.. If you'll be there the 23rd, you'll only be a few hours away from the planned east coast mega-meet at Lexus of Rockville (MD). RR Racing will be there too.

Sadly I arrive in New Jersey on the 23rd, so won't have time to get to the meet.
Ive cut out most of the article to avoid any rows over Copyright. Hopefully you guys can get the magazine if you so wish.
I'll be bringing Rafi and Simon a copy when I visit.

did u paint the calipers yourself? or did you have them professionally done?
how have they held up? do u clean them every so often?
sorry for the all the questions just was debating if i should have them painted or powdercoated? for now im gonna leave it black but in the future i might try and have it matched with my suspension arms.
Awesome build bro!! i need to step up my mods seriously lol

Thanks mate.
I had a firm over here do them. They are holding up pretty well, but remember I'm not daily driving my car.
Close up they don't look great, but pretty sure the company I used painted them by hand, and in situ!
Hoping to to source some bigger brakes in preparation for the supercharger kit.
Nice big set of K-Sport's in orange would be nice!
Cheers for now.

Hi Guys,
Been a while since I've posted on my build thread, so time for an update.
Currently sitting in the waiting area at Lexus Canterbury. Annual service.
Looking good though!

Check out the new murdered front grill. Pretty sure no one else has this style over this side of the pond? I'm having some issues with the safety system, guessing the sensor isn't liking the new badge!
I've asked if they can disable it fully while I'm here. We'll see I guess!
Couple more from home when I finished installing it.

Got my brakes to upgrade next. Slotted Project Mu rotors, Project Mu pads, stainless steel brake lines, new OEM shims, Endless brake fluid.
After that it's probably OS Giken LSD, and the new RR-Racing mid-range suspension setup.
Then its save like crazy tillI can afford the RR-Racing supercharger kit.
Car will be getting dyno'd again soon to see how the PPE headers, RR-Racing tuned intake and tune have affected things. Should be fun!
Cheers guys.

Bummed we couldn't reconnect on your latest trip to So Cal, Peter. And you were in my neck of the woods too. Darn it! But the new addition really looks nice on your SGM. If your car originally came with the Radar emblem, you'll need to drill an oval shape and retrofit that specific emblem since it has the electronics specified for the car. Otherwise, it shouldn't have triggered anything.
The front looks really sharp. So dark and sinister with the hood and blackened trim of the headlights. Well done! See you again soon!

I'm heading over again on Monday chap.
Been messaging Kody on a separate thread. Staying in Pasadena, so hoping to see you guys on Wednesday evening? Think we were looking at 8pm or so?
Be great to see y'all if you can make it out??
I'm liking the new badge over the radar type version. Hoping they can disable it, if not, might look at moving it to the lower grill instead? Needs to move when I add the supercharger kit anyway, so not a big deal hopefully!
Maybe see you Wednesday night buddy?
Cheers!

Pete, I installed the same front grill and emblem just before shipping the car, my radar is working fine.
Is yours throwing codes?

All good, my friend! I know Kody's starting to plan a gathering of sorts in June, so it should be fun. Safe travels, and definitely load up on that sunscreen when you visit in a few weeks. Needless to say, we're all going to need it by then.
