Here's a copy and paste from another thread for any one interested in the status.
Ok so I haven't updated this but I'm days away from starting it.I have the Collins adaptor kit installed with a JWT street clutch and hoke performance shifter bracket.for the shaft masters drive shaft coming along with a universal race harness to get it started.fuel is ran ands hidden as much as possible behind the secondary fire wall and fmic was just installed along with my shortened and machined throttle body.I also had to modify the stock pedal to accept a stock 2jz throttle cable.let me know what you guys think.
Here she looks now

Question:
So I have a12.7 psi spring in the precision 39mm wg, but the car still seems to boost closer to 15psi and hit boost cut and then it feels like I hit a brick wall. Also in boost my AF is 10 and feels like I'm losing allot of power.
Stock jdm aristo ecu
bws366
Blitz bov(softest setting yet still don't really hear it I don't think)
Pw39 WG
just 3"down pipe, not full exhaust
All vacuums hooked up to a vacuum block hooked up I line with main vacuum on intake manifold.

As for the BOV, I would check the vacuum lines again, sounds like its not opening?

I see that you used the collins bellhousing adapter and CD009 trans, but did you use a 2JZ clutch or CD009 clutch? Pressure plate? Bearings? Im going to have to do this swap on my 1UZ pretty soon and need to know what Collins expects me to do.

If you dont mind me asking, why the swap? The VQ is a pretty capable engine in it's stock form with boost, let alone with some upgraded internals and boost.
Not hating, just curious.
