I was going to purchase a shell today, but it needed to be painted and it had too many parts missing. I backed out on the deal. There is still one more thing on my list before I start looking for a car (Marlin Crawler r154 race rebuild kit from driftmotion). There are many is300 for sale in Florida for decent prices, the car won't be an issue.

I purchased a GE harness from a 2003 IS and I routed the wires to fit the GTE. I used 3M friction tape to hide all the wires. I love the how the end product turned out.

Fully built R154 transmission upgrade kit from Driftmotion. Transmission will be dropped off this Tuesday to get rebuilt.

Last Tuesday I dropped off the R154 at Brevard Discount Transmission and Auto Center in Merritt Island Florida for the rebuild which was done by Chris. The R154 is ready to be picked up. Here are some pics of the process as he worked on it.

I got this tranny at a good price but it was sold to me as a fully working transmission(craigslist). Clearly we can see a broken shift fork. Great thing I decided to do this rebuild.

More parts straight from Japan, JZX110 shifter housing and JZX100 R154 mount. I will be using is300 auto crossmember.

Thanks to JesLet who helped my out with some issues getting the jzx110 shifter housing to work with a Mk3 R154.
I didn't liked how only two bolts align with the extension housing, I'm sure someone who doesn't want to spend more money on this step it would work by getting really thin bolts with large washers and a nut as theres is space. I want a much cleaner look and would like to use all the bolts on the jzx100 r154 mount, I went the extra mile and purchased a jzx extension housing (not to be confused with the shift housing).

This is what neutral looked like on the Ralco shifter before getting straighten.

After getting straighten.

Thanks, I went a different route. I didn't need to merge the harness. I used the is300 GE harness. If you need to merge the harness and are unsure, I'd recomend you send them to tweak'd.
