Default 2014 is250

I have a 2014 IS 250 and every so often the engine lags upon making a right hand turn from a dead stop. Imagine this happening in a right-turn-on-red situation where another car is speeding along on the street you are turning on to. The dealer tells me this is due to Smart Stop and that I must be applying gas and brake at the same time. This is definitely not the case. Has anyone experienced this problem? If so, what's the solution?

Thanks,

Tom

Are you in Eco mode by any chance?

I believe it's because you're in Eco mode. Eco mode, in general, slows throttle response down considerably. Even when you're pedal to the floor I don't believe the car is actually WOT (wide open throttle).

Because of this sometimes being unsafe, I only stay in eco mode for hwy cruising.
