Been awhile since I did anything to the faithful old SC. Procured a driveshaft that had a low mileage carrier bearing already installed along with a new flex plate coupler. So I replaced the entire assembly.

I was getting a good amount of vibration and a loud drone noise whenever I let off the throttle to coast at high(er) speeds. Carrier bearing is silent now, vibes are gone for the most part.

Yeah...320k sure does affect rubber over the years...lol Wonder where the vibrations were coming from.

Eradicated some wheel gap today. Megan EZ Streets thanks to the forum. The stock shocks were blown.

Next; roll fenders on the rear so extenders will fit, lower a few more inches.

Couple pictures.

Upon further investigation, it turns out my hydraulic fan system needs new hoses. They are rattling apart and weeping ATF. Another 200 bucks...oh well, what to expect with an old fart.

Like I do with every single on of my stinking SC's, I sold it.

Just buy them, bring them back from oblivion, and sell them to enthusiasts.

Should be back with another SC in no time, you know how it goes.
