Default CJ's Project SC300

Well this one is a keeper...as stated in my last thread with the red 97 I experienced some issues. As far as this 97 SC300 goes, I've been searching for it for years and opportunity rang so I had to jump on it. Original un-molested Platinum Metallic 97 SC300 with original OEM black interior. My first SC300 was a 1A0 and it was rebuilt title due to "theft". I wasn't comfortable with owning a rebuilt title especially after finding out the owner swapped the OEM black interior out for tan. So not only was my first SC rebuilt title, but it also had interior swapped out to tan. I fell in love with the 1A0 and finally found this one. I'm the 3rd owner with no wrecks or anything on file. Everything is original.

Well I meant to post this last week but I've been tied up with work. First mod was getting rid of the front back breaker OEM seats Jae Torres grabbed them off of me in his SC Of course I'll be running lighter seats. I loved the S2000 seats in my DWP SC so I'll be grabbing a pair of OEM black S2k seats.

Started gathering parts for my build today...ordered a Mishimoto radiator & trans cooler along with a AEM 320lph in-tank fuel pump. Have to go to Toyota to source seals and gaskets to rebuild the new heart. Then I'll be getting the CX Racing frount mount intercooler kit with BOV as well as the radiator hard pipe kit. I also need to find a SC400 drive shaft and output flange.

Quick update...I'm still in the process of gathering part. In memory of my import car idol, it was only right that I dedicated this build to him. If it wasn't for Paul Walker pulling up on scene in that green Eclipse, I'd probably still be a straight American Muscle guy.

Thanks man I appreciate it...I lucked up on it. Staying true to the JDM Soarer side so I have a 1JZGTE on the way...hopefully it will be here by no later than next week Then I'll be putting TT rods and pistons in my GE block just in case I feel the need in the future to go 1.5JZ
