Congratulations on the purchase man I actually came close to trading my GS with him, you have one of the cleanest SCs in the south man.

Feel free to PM me about anything you have questions, as I have almost every bolt-on possible for 98+ 1UZ's and the car is a beast. I had the luxury of the previous owner doing a lot of the work ("bcsc400"), so check out some of his old threads if you want some details on the amazing exhaust my car has.

..few things I would reccomend for your car are the eBay BFI, 3.76 LSD (if you can get your hands on one), and PPE headers mated to a custome exhuast (again, bcsc400's threads have a lot of detail about this). With these mods this SC feels twice as fast as my previous '99 400 that was stock.

Finally, since it looks like I'm going to be keeping my car (no interest in it), I'll likely be doing an R154 swap at some point as well. I'd be interested in knowing how that works out for you if you decide to go that route. I'll be favouriting this thread. Good luck!
Thanks bro, appreciate the tips. I think I am going to go your route with full bolt ons and manual swap. Comin from my last 1j SC , I look forward to playing with the 1uz. Oh and btw LRD hit me back and he still has z06 brackets! Ordering them next week.

Quick update, The Car will be going to the body shop Monday for paint and repair work on the front and rear bumpers. Also got some window visors in, will take some new pics once on. Planning on getting the stance right this weekend, sitting too high in the back. Fenders are rolled, I really don't want to pull them and mess with the paint. I am going to add some camber on the rear and drop it an inch. I shouldn't have any rubbing issues and the car wont be so raked to the front. I will post pics once done. Stay tuned.

Got my Coil slap problem taken care of with the Tien silcencer rubber, vibrations taken care of with hubrings. Should have learned my lesson from my last sc when 4 studs broke off at once from no hubrings...Only lost one this time.

73.1 to 60.1 hub rings for my Varrstoens

Silencer rubber ordered from Rally Sport direct

All installed, no knocking noise in the back now.

just a nice after pic.
