A few more things I have setting here waiting to go in (pics to come later):
Collins adapter 2jz/cd009 swap kit
Collins adapters drive shaft with diff adapter
Hoke performance cd009 shifter reducer
Custom shifter mod by a friend from Facebook. Makes the shifter come up thru the factory position.

Thanks sir. I will try to update this thread as I go. Sounds like you got yourself a nice build going. I will stop by and read up on that.

awesome job man, What was the worst part? I have a stock 5 speed now this is my third sc I didnt feel like spending the money on the 5 speed swap with other sc's.
Now, i really think i will be doing the swap in the near future.

yup I lucked out on the S366. it even had all the fittings and drain fittings so that saved me a couple bucks there.
thanks sir.
Id say the worst part of the whole build so far had to be the R154 shifter extension. Me and chris had never taken a trans apart before, and was worried about putting it back together wrong. Just trying to get everything lined up and in proper location was a little bit of a pain.
thanks sir.

CD009 trans swap goodies
this is how I am going to be making the CD009 work in the SC.
First off Im using the Hoke performance 350z shifter reducer. if you go to their website it will tell you how to use this and what is needed done for it to work.
then I took the stock 350z shifter and had it modified like so. this modification was done by Brett Fenning. He is the guy who had the maroon sc at TX2K last year.
what its gonna look like when finished. ( Sorta ) you get the concept.
SC driveshaft supplied by Brett Collins of Collins Adapters
Sc Diff adapter supplied by Brett Collins also.
Act Clutch Kit also picked up from Brett Collins. This clutch is suppose to hold 670 lb ft of torque.
Brand New CD009 trans picked up from Dynosty. Thanks Again Hal and Dustin.
Collins adapter Kit ( this kit does not require milling of the bellhousing. )
Okay guys the only thing missing is how Im gonna get the speedo working. Alot of people use the Dakota Digital boxes. Which is cheap and great. However they seem like they could be a pain to set up. The next way, which is the way I maybe going, Is the use of an Autometer GPS Speedometer Interface module 5289. This one has reviews on summit from Club Lexus Member MARKO. So this one is kinda pushing more my way. Hopefully this has helped everyone out.

Wow that shifter is clean! That was the single thing holding me back from attempting this CD009 Swap. If there becomes a bolt on solution available I'm pulling the trigger.
Would you mind tally'ing up your total for the swap? Just trying to gauge how much it costs....

Hipsi the total on all if the trans swap is right at $4k. A little more or less. If you buy a used trans you will save a lot. I bought new because I could to find a used one local. Same with the stock cd009 shifter. I couldn't find one used so I bought new. If you want the guys name and number for the shifter let me know. He said it was cool to send more people his way. He is willing to do these for anyone needing them done.
