Default 95SC3T Build

Well its time to start my long ongoing build thread. Sorry I wont have as many pics as yall may like.

I want to thanks the following people, without them this build would have never happened.

My best friend and brother I never had Chris Emmons. He's on here and Im sure he will comment. Without him the swap would have never happened. he did everything in his garage, beside wiring and tuning.

Ryan Potter, owner of VIP Automotive. Does great work. He did the wiring and tuning on the SC. This guy knows his stuff. Check him out on Facebook and at his webpage. He tunes all kinds of vehicles. he also does builds and just your average basic maintenance. Located in crestwood Kentucky.

Hal and Dustin at Dynosty. These guys have been awesome. These guys came thru for me and helped me get setup with a bunch of parts. Yes they are well known for the 350z platform, but Hal used to race a SC300 back in the day and is no stranger to the 2jz platform. Hit them up on Facebook and at their website. They work on all makes of vehicles.

Aaron Gregory for the fab work on intercooler and exhaust work.

Wade hill for the catch can in such short notice.

I bought the lexus around august of 2012. It had a little cosmetic damage but I wasn't to worried about it as I had planned to swap it anyway and do some updates. heres some pics of when I first bought it.

So it was time to start buying parts and stocking up on goodies. The plan was to have a street friendly setup that would be fun and enjoyable and something I could daily drive. So I decided on a Single turbo with a cast manifold. the parts shelf lol

A harness acquired from Mark here from the forums

the treadstone intercooler i decided on is a TR10 unit.

driftmotion power steering res. that i did some brushed aluminum look too. not the best but it works.

After tons of fooling around and waiting on zerolift I decided to try a different place. Me and Chris loaded up into the truck and drove to Cincy to JDM midwest motor depot. Picked up the JDM GTE.
off loaded it into chris garage

over the next couple days chris started stripping it of the jdm twins and prepping it for all the new gaskets and seals and rear sump oil pans.

the motor had oil in it when we picked it up. There was no water in the oil and there were no shavings in the oil. everything was clean on the inside.

Strapped down and on an AEM V1 box

grinded down a spare throttle body Chris had from his car. don't worry its been welded up and smoothed out after these pics and painted to match intake.

Chris spare intake manifold he wasn't using so I had it powdercoated satin black

Picked up a PHR sc fuel tank setup

flex fuel hmmmm and phr hat

A second walbro 485 pump to go with the one I had already put in the car when I was having the swap done. This second one may be on a switch, Im undecided as of now. May have it controller by the haltech and put a pressure sensor on the fuel pressure regulator and have it kick on that way. once it sees a drop in pressure.
