Tax season baller, one week build
Hi. My name is Kahi and Im from hawaii. Not really a tax season baller, just figured that title would catch attention. haha Ive had a whole ton of cars. My girlfriend used to own this car. We sold it about 3 months ago. Just got it back in a trade from my friend couple weeks ago.
But anyways got it all stock. 56xxx miles. Black leather interior and ugly *** wing thing.
Yes, the front bumper is Hideous! haha
First thing I did was. Un bolt the mufflers from behind the axles. Sounds pretty good!
Then I ordered a set of PBMs. Will be brutally honest, I wish they were more stiff. They ride really well. But preloaded them and set them all the way stiff. Still not stiff enough. But I'm happy
Then I had the task of finding wheels. Not too fun down here in Hawaii. Got a deal on some 18x9.5 +15 MB battles from my friend. They have 225/40/18s. Fits pretty decently
4X4 Ride height. It was disgusting. So I tucked the wire harness, rolled the fenders and turned down the coils. Much better
Then my ebay front lip came in and I went even lower.
Then got some battle version solid steering bushings and a 350mm Nardi deep corn Black edition with some spiffy gold bolts.
That is where I am now. Took about a week and a half from start til now. I plan on trying to 5 speed it, get better wheels, and maybe NA-T it. Thanks for reading.
I AM LOOKING FOR some parts guys. Any help would be much appreciated!

Not bad, and welcome to CL. Check out the "sticky" at the top there's a lot of good information available to help you with your build, etc. In the mean time, you should definitely move that wiring harness in the DS fender well...it's going to get chewed for sure with you being that "looooooow". Keep us posted. Thanks.

i'll never understand why people lower their cars so much. car looks decent though. gotta take those side moldings next.
And I personally prefer the pre 97 look to 97+

Thank you!
Thanks man. Ive spent a lot of time in the stickys. Lots of good information and help on this forum. I used the sticky to relocate my harness and install the steering rack bushings.
Thanks! its a must in all of my cars.
thanks. The wing kills me, idk weather or not to take it off
I guess just personal preference? I like my car really low and it still performs very well. Those side moldings will come off eventually. Maybe if/when I paint the car.
