Default 2008 is350 cel on

Hi, I'm new in here. So I've just bought a 08 is350 premium pkg last month which came with after market exhaust and intake. After driving it for a week cel came up took back to the dealer they said its the mass airflow sensor they cleaned it should be fine. Next morning cel is back and after two days it went away and its back again today!! Any had this issue before? Thanks

Did they even pull the code to see exactly what the error was? Next time the CEL appears, go to an auto parts store and have them pull the code(s). Let us know what it turns out to be. I'm leaning towards an O2 sensor.

By the way, you posted in the wrong sub-forum.

I pulled the codes 1. P0101: mass or volume air flow a circuit range/performance
2. P0174 system too lean bank 2

I'm sorry first time and thanks for the reply

I'd try grabbing a can of "Lexus-MAF sensor safe" cleaner (CRC brand) and try cleaning the MAF sensor yourself. Follow the directions. If that doesn't help, then perhaps a little research about that P0101 code will tell you whether folks that replaced their MAF sensor fixed their CEL. If that fixes the first CEL, then it might fix the other.

Good luck!
