Yeah, sucks! Although there are a few turbo Aristo imports floating around. I would've loved a 430 though instead of 300

I would have liked an Aristo Turbo but way overpriced here compared to the 430.

Well I managed to install my double-din and subwoofer today, after having to take apart the interior that I just put in!!! Apologies to Angus and Sam12345 for the noob questions, it seemed I managed to confuse myself and the whole swap ended up being exactly the same as the GS300!! Saying that, it works and is a lot better than the quality of the stock system (sub helps!), but I had to wave bye bye to Nav. I took a GoPro image of it completed, just waiting on the new mats now, but this is it for the interior, although a steering wheel upgrade in the summer will be taking place.....

Nice one man. I decided against mixing the door cards too much but I like what you've done. Two-tone really suits these cars!

Right guys, the coilovers, ball joints, drop links and track rod ends have gone on over the past few days and here are the images. I didn't do any DIY's as there are plenty on here, but if you have any questions just let me know.

How it started........standard shocks on aftermarket springs....

First corner getting stripped ready for the new parts....

Always handy having your new parts turn up whilst working on your ride....

New coilovers fitted with ball joint and track rod arm....

How it sat before adjustments. Just not practical for our roads....

After some adjustments.......

Overall I am very happy with the ride. I decided to go with 12/10 springs which give it a stiffer ride, which works well on our heavy old cars. The car is all over the place in regards to steering but that's because it needs full laser alignment (hopefully tomorrow). Glad it's done now though, not fun laying under the car in minus temperatures!!

Thanks for looking.

Will be good to hear your thoughts on the BC Racing Coilovers once they've settled in.

Great progress mate.

Thanks guys. So far I'm happy with them, nice solid feel without losing all comfort. I'll comment more once I've had the geometry aligned as I really need that doing!

As with all things, it was bitter sweet as the car has now created a leak in the exhaust! Waiting on my centre section from Topspeed. It's cleared customs, so hopefully it will be on by next week

i think you'll be happy with TopSpeed... is the leak unfixable?

It's in the centre section which is what I'm replacing anyway. I'm using the SS rear section from my GS300 and putting it on the Topspeed section. The good thing is I don't use my car for anything really, so I don't mind if it's leaking for now

I received a suspect package today....

Just what I was expecting it to be....

I also used my door to take a 'selfie' after a bit of a detailing session....

Another angle....

Apart from changing my '01 lights over to LED's and sticking on new clear repeaters, I've done nothing but detail the thing today. Next week will see the exhaust being changed over. Hopefully I will start getting some better shots of the car once the weather gets better and all the servicing is done.

Don't say things like that, I'm excited enough haha.

I'm planning to add it to the rear ss section I had on my GS300, which is the same diameter. Will it sound good with just the CATs and no resonators? Performance wise I'm not expecting much but as I have a blown system and one O2 sensor malfunctioning, I'm sure I'll feel something with the positive changes.
