That is a very tasteful mod list so far! What else do you have planned for it?

Are you lowered with the 19s setup? I would like to see more pics of em, side shots.

I'm looking to get 19s in the same wheel/tire specs cause I want to go square. Any issues with this setup? Speedo-readings?

Late reply... But here are some close ups of the mud guards. The rent are some eBay guards they are smaller than the OEM euro guards, I had to fit these because the larger ones would bump into the Nia side diffusers.

With winter setup on

Removed spare tire to put tool box and auxillary battery setup. This battery powers the remote start antenna and eventually dash cams for all night recording. It prevents main battery drain and has a bypass that allows it to boost the main battery if needed.

I like the tune, if you want more info you can PM me and I'll give you the whole run down. To answer your question, yes it does void warranty but only if they find the tune. So if your engine we're to blow up or something you can just pull the file and they won't know. The tune so far is safe, no reason for it to damage the vehicle, it's dependant on the driver. Don't red line all the time and don't keep it at red line too long.

I can answer this question. You are going to love the tune, you are going to lose your warranty. I am pretty sure they can check to see if the ECU was modded even if you de-tune it...Can anyone confirm?

I dyno'd mine last week, peak HP is at 6200, you don't even need to come close to the redline..

True you dont need to go close to redline, but going past peak power makes you lose less RPMS and keeping you in the power band for the next gear.
Maybe try 0-60 shifting early and shifting at redline, might have a difference in time... not sure. This is how i interpret using redline.

Good point. It is hard to determine an appropriate powrband, but at least it's an 8spd. Less distance between gears..

Ah, we're both on the 6 speed AWD. And yea, you could be testing for days finding the right RPM to shift lol.
side note, i don't think i've ever heard of dealerships finding out whether or not you had a tune on the car (lots of subaru guys tune - haven't seen complaints when i had a subaru and roamed those forums). You'd have to ask the dealership, or a tech, not sure if they would lie to you just to scare you out of it...

The question is just how capable is the engine, can it handle it long term? I mean reliability is pretty big with lexus and I feel any gains in HP is not really worth it if you can't safely run it for say 5+ years. I plan to keep my is350 for a long time, would love more power but wouldn't trade reliability for it. Could have gotten a 340i if speed was that important.
